Talking about the anime 'Hell's Paradise' 🌺🗡️

The original manga has concluded, spanning 13 volumes and 127 chapters. The first season of the anime aired in 2023 with a total of 13 episodes, and the second season is scheduled for 2026 with 12 episodes. Considering the remaining chapters, if a third season with a similar length is produced, it's highly likely it will cover the original ending. However, there's no news about a third season yet. The story follows 'Gabimaru,' the strongest ninja, who is sentenced to death. To receive a pardon and return to his beloved wife, he heads to a mysterious island called 'Shinsenkyo' with the executioner Sagiri to find the legendary elixir of immortality. He's joined by other death row inmates and their executioners, and the island is inhabited by extraordinary creatures and mysteries. I've only watched the first season so far, and I found it quite engaging at the time, curious about the island's secrets and future developments. I really liked that it doesn't just focus on Gabimaru's pair; the stories of the other death row inmates and executioners each have their own appeal. In a situation where you don't know if they'll end up as enemies or allies, or even who might suddenly die, it's easy to get drawn into the plot. Also, Gabimaru and Sagiri are the main male and female protagonists, but they aren't a romantic pairing. Gabimaru has a wife he deeply loves from the start, which is a setup I quite like 😆 However, I'm not particularly interested in the Taoists (Tensen) or some of the 'sex'-related settings. Plus, there isn't a character I like so much that I feel compelled to binge-watch it right now, so I've been putting off the second season 🤣 Still, I'm very curious about how the story concludes, so I plan to catch up on the second season when I have the time~
