Regarding opening car doors from the left side

This article is not intended to attack anyone. My dad often gave me rides on his motorcycle. While others might be scrolling on their phones while riding on the back of a motorcycle, I'm afraid of dropping my phone 😅 So I don't have that habit. Usually, I'd look around for traffic police, enjoy the scenery, or watch out for speeding cars. Then, I often observe a phenomenon. It's when drivers of cars parked on the roadside love to open their left-side doors. They often don't check if there are oncoming vehicles and open that car door, much like a gateway to hell. Either the person who gets hit gets injured, or the person opening the door gets into trouble. At that moment, I think to myself: Is it that difficult to reach over the gear stick and open the passenger door? It's certainly much safer than opening the driver's side door. I often see tragedies caused by opening doors on the internet. I've also witnessed it firsthand; the entire car door flew off at that time. And the person who hit the car door (a motorcyclist) was also sent flying. It looked incredibly painful. So, I suggest to all drivers who have a car license: Please open the passenger door, or if not, wait until a red light to open the driver's door. I also suggest to those riding motorcycles, walking, or cycling: Please imagine the cars parked on the roadside. Imagine that this car might open its door. Maintain an appropriate distance from the car doors. (And don't forget to pay attention to your surroundings.)
