Ding Ding is going wild~ Well, I guess we can leave now
Seeing Elder Cheater's post reminded me~ I forgot to post my 'Ding Ding' tasting review yesterday!!! 'Wild Ding Ding' is a Halloween limited new product launched by 7-11 in October 2026, featuring an all-black design and caramel flavor. This product sells for 18 NT dollars each. Online reviews are quite divided. This is really hard to buy. I couldn't get it whenever I tried to buy it before. Last night, when I went to 7-11, I finally saw a row of Ding Dings on the shelf. My daughter saw it and kept begging me to let her eat it~ Can't refuse a daughter's wish, so of course, Mom bought the whole row!!! Since the little glutton was eager to eat it right away, I let her sit in the 7-11 and enjoy it leisurely. As soon as I opened it, there was a caramel aroma. Online reviews said it was very sweet. So I let my daughter try it first. Seeing her eat it with such delight and happiness, I asked her to let me have a bite. Hmm... it's really sweet, but it does taste a bit like the caramel layer at the bottom of a pudding. I saw some people online sharing that because it's too sweet and cloying to eat on its own, the most recommended way to eat it is 'to crush the Ding Ding and mix it with fresh milk'. So, I decided to eat the rest with milk after dinner tonight. Indeed, it's not as sweet with milk. Because milk isn't sweet, it effectively neutralizes the high sweetness of Ding Ding, instantly turning it into a black caramel milk with a rich caramel pudding aroma. The texture is on the firmer side, lacking the soft, chewy, tender feel of a traditional Uni-President pudding. But personally, I think... traditional pudding is tastier. It's quite boring to eat it plain. But my daughter loves it, so I'll leave the last one for her. As for the black charcoal marshmallow, let's skip it for now. I heard it turns your teeth black 🤣
