It's truly beautiful, great for photos, and has so much delicious food. I can't fit it all in one post, so I'm splitting it into two. This post focuses on the food. 🥕Radish Turnip Cake $160 Shredded white radish is mixed with rice flour, wheat flour, green onions, and a unique shrimp paste batter, then deep-fried. The result is a crispy exterior, juicy and crunchy interior, and a layered 3D cake. It's recommended to try it plain first, then drizzle with the shop's secret lemon soy sauce. The refreshing lemon aroma instantly cuts through the greasiness of the deep-frying. 🍢Jiu Lu Chuan - Cold Pot Skewers You pick your own ingredients, and they're all pre-cooked. After you choose, the shop drizzles spicy sauce over them. It's so tingly it makes your teeth ache and your mouth water. You'll be saying 'si ha si ha' but you won't be able to stop eating it. 🍯Fresh Bee Honey Water $50 A transparent beehive is displayed nearby, highlighting its natural, additive-free quality. You must try the famous Gangshan honey! This frozen honey water is clear, sweet, and fragrant. One sip cools you down from the summer heat you worked up exploring. 🦑Yang - Japanese Grilled Giant Squid $100 The Japanese-style sauce is sweet and savory with a rich garlic flavor. The squid is chewy and not fishy. Taking photos, browsing the market, exploring the military dependents' village culture – this place is definitely worth a visit.
