Info Share | 'The Princess Knight's Gigolo' to Air in January 2027

The anime adaptation of the light novel, 'The Princess Knight's Gigolo,' is scheduled to broadcast in January 2027. The story is set in a labyrinth city developed around a giant underground dungeon. Princess Knight Arvin aims to conquer the dungeon and obtain treasures from its depths to rebuild her homeland; however, a man with a terrible reputation, Matthew, follows her. Matthew doesn't work, doesn't enter the dungeon, spends his days drinking, gambling, and frequenting brothels, relying entirely on Arvin for his living expenses, making him a 'gigolo' looked down upon by everyone in the city. Initially, seeing the 'gigolo' setup, I thought it would be a more lighthearted story. After looking into it, I found that this work actually takes a darker route, and Matthew doesn't seem as simple as he appears on the surface👀 Their relationship isn't that of ordinary lovers, but is described as a special relationship between a 'mistress and her gigolo.' While some settings might be a bit of a turn-off for me🤣, after researching, I've become curious about their interactions and Matthew's true identity. I'll add it to my watchlist for the January new anime season😆
