Strategic Significance of Aircraft Carriers - Supplement
During World War II, aircraft carriers were used by the US when attacking Japan. Due to geographical reasons, the two countries were far apart, causing planes to run out of fuel before reaching their destination. So, at this time, aircraft carriers were needed to help the planes travel a certain distance, reducing the distance the fighters needed to advance and significantly decreasing fuel consumption. Aircraft carriers could also serve as mobile relay stations, resupplying and repairing fighter jets. At that time, Japan could no longer produce aircraft carriers because most of its shipyards were bombed by the US. However, to counter the US aircraft carriers, Japan, driven to desperation, turned its air force into Kamikaze Special Attack units. Although tragic, it did inflict severe damage on US aircraft carriers. (Modified for Tanya)

The positioning of aircraft carriers is somewhat accurate, but don't simplify Kamikaze attacks into mere countermeasures. It was an extreme sacrifice born from strategic collapse, and tactics lacking long-term consideration are like a drop in the bucket during war. Recognize this and stop the naive worship.
