Rat Swarm Steals Food

A rat swarm has been spotted in Taichung City. Following a scene in May where rats were seen snatching food at Le Jia Kang supermarket on Huanzhong East Road in Taiping District, a citizen witnessed another terrifying sight on the 3rd: over a dozen rats fighting over food on a motorcycle parked outside the same supermarket. This absurd situation has once again sparked heated public discussion. In response, the Taichung City Environmental Protection Bureau stated that they immediately inspected the site upon receiving the report. Although no environmental sanitation issues or signs of rats were found at the moment, they have requested the business to continuously strengthen environmental management and thoroughly implement measures such as garbage bagging, covering food waste bins, clearing clutter, and environmental disinfection.
