Info Share | "Little Red Riding Hood, Meets a Corpse on the Journey" TV Anime Premieres January 2027

A TV anime adaptation of Aoyagi Heito's mystery novel "Little Red Riding Hood, Meets a Corpse on the Journey" is scheduled to premiere in January 2027. The story is set in a familiar fairy tale world, with Little Red Riding Hood as the protagonist on a journey. She encounters characters from fairy tales like Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, and Sleeping Beauty during her travels, but also stumbles upon a series of murder cases, using her observation skills and deductive reasoning to uncover the truth. The work's main theme is "Fairy Tale × Authentic Mystery." Although the title directly states "Meets a Corpse" and murders do occur, it's not a gory or horrific horror story. Instead, it integrates magic, fairy tale items, and familiar story settings into puzzles and tricks. When I first saw the title and the visual… it was so cute 🤣 I only found out later that it's a detective suspense story set in a fairy tale world, not a gory horror style. The premise of "Little Red Riding Hood traveling through various fairy tales, constantly encountering murder cases and starting to investigate" sounds quite interesting. Adding it to my watchlist for January 2027 😆
