Debating with AI

I persuade him until he agrees, and then when he actually agrees, I rebut him. It's like fighting with my left and right hands at the same time 😅

AI basically judges what people prefer to hear based on big data, so it can't really persuade or win an argument. AI is currently in a state of 'providing abundant emotional value, but with unclear actual value'. So, what can be discussed? However, if guided enough, AI can integrate a communication style that suits you better. Although I haven't tried debating, if AI thinks you enjoy debating, it might just play along?

I've cursed at AI before I was using an AI image generator back then Sometimes the images wouldn't load It happened so many times I just cursed it out Hahahahahaha

AI doesn't have human emotions; it just analyzes and organizes data from its vast database to provide the most appropriate answer. If you use sophistry, it won't find the most correct answer within its logical loops. However, humans can tell if it's sophistry, and in the end, the AI will surrender!

It seems like it'll be fun, but usually the AI just lets you win.

I've had that happen too. Usually, I ask the other person to roleplay as someone supporting a certain viewpoint, and then we debate.

Basically, I always question my AI assistant until it gets suspicious too. However, it's very smart when it comes to summarizing book highlights, so it's not always possible to successfully convince it.

I feel like AI is too easily led and not suitable for debates. 🫣

I think it's good to interact and chat more when giving prompts/instructions to the AI, or to debate as you mentioned. Usually, it can't understand your request in one go, so I think debating more is a good thing. Personally, I think of AI as someone you can chat randomly with, and the more you chat, the more it gets to know you. Just my two cents 🤔

I get into arguments with the Fion here. Sometimes it feels like they're rubbing salt in the wound when I'm already feeling down, but then I just get too tired to argue anymore.
