Dad was watching a cold medicine commercial and asked, 'What does '夯夯' (hāng hāng) mean?' Daughter, looking puzzled, thought for a moment and replied, 'Why are you asking me? I don't know what '夯夯' is either.' Dad: 'It's like when you're about to get a fever but it's not that bad.' Daughter: 'Ah, you explained it yourself, why are you asking me again?' Dad: 'I don't know if I explained it right. This is called 'not being ashamed to ask those below you' (不恥下問).' Daughter: 'But I don't know! '夯'... '夯罵' (hāng mà), does it mean hot? No, '夯罵' is barbecue, so it must mean roasted.' Dad burst out laughing, 'Roasted?!' Daughter: 'Barbecue is '夯罵', so '夯夯' must be roasted roasted.' Dad couldn't stop laughing.

Hahaha, your Taiwanese is really bad. 'Head is hot' probably means you're getting a fever, right?
