My Roommate is a Cat 🐈⬛📚

The original work is a manga by Minatsuki and illustrated by Asu Futatsuya, and it is currently still being serialized. The anime adaptation aired in 2019, with a total of 12 episodes. No second season has been announced yet. The story follows Subaru, a mystery novelist who is not good at interacting with people, and a stray cat named Yoru, whom he meets one day. The two, who were used to living alone, begin their life together. I really loved the dual perspective narration in this series! 😆 Often, the same event is first shown from Subaru's point of view, and then switching to Yoru's perspective, you realize, "So that's what you were thinking then!" 🤣 Even though they can't communicate verbally, they often have completely different understandings of each other's actions, yet you can feel them caring for each other in their own ways. It's heartwarming to see the man and cat gradually become family. I also really loved how the cats were drawn in this series! It's not just that the cats are drawn cutely, but they've captured that fluffy, soft texture too. 🥰 Overall, it's a work with a comfortable pace that is very healing, and it's also highly recommended for cat lovers~
