Shami: It's not fat, it's just fluffy fur!

Back in the day, Shami was a tiny little thing, no bigger than my palm. It would curl up obediently, and I could entertain it for ages with a small toy. With its big, watery eyes, it looked like it was gazing at the most precious treasure in the world. It was as light as a feather then, I could scoop it up with one hand, and a crumpled piece of paper would send it leaping and bounding – a true 'miniature cheetah'. But time isn't just a cruel mistress; for me, it's been like a super-potent 'pig feed'! Sometime along the way, this 'little cheetah' started to expand horizontally at an alarming rate, its base getting wider and wider, evolving into a thickened 'liquid cat'. Today, I specifically brought out that old toy to try and awaken its wild instincts. The result? Shami merely lazily lifted an eyelid, revealing a 'seen-it-all' expression, probably thinking, 'Can this thing be eaten? If not, don't disturb my nap.' Now, it's like a furry mountain, sprawled on the floor like a seal. Looking at this giant 'meat mountain' before me, I couldn't help but sigh. I used to cradle it with both hands; now, I have to take a deep breath, brace myself, and be careful not to throw my back out. And yet, it smugly squints, as if proudly declaring, 'This isn't fat! It's just grown up and has luxurious fur!' I look at it helplessly and quietly go to prepare its next meal. Feeding it too much turned it into the so-called 'grandma-raised cat'... Is that good or bad... Oh well~ It's still super cute~
