Listening to novels? (?)
Sometimes I listen to novels that don't require much thought while doing other things. When that happens, writing that's okay to read can be really annoying to listen to (-ι_- ) Example: When listening to messages or forum posts, there are names at the beginning. If one person sends multiple messages, you'll hear their name repeatedly. Or things that repeat a lot, like 'hahahahaha' or 'NameNameName'. It's so frustrating to suddenly hear stuff like that while listening to the plot _(:3」∠ )_ Also, the pronunciation in audio. Sometimes the same word has different pronunciations, and it's really jarring to hear 🫠 Example: For '頸' (neck), I'm used to hearing it pronounced 'jǐng', and I've never heard it pronounced 'gěng' before 😆 Like '重重難關' (chóng² chóng² difficult challenges) and '重重放下' (zhòng² zhòng² put down heavily). AI voices sometimes get it right and sometimes get it wrong, resulting in hearing 'chóng² zhòng²'.

Listening to a novel and getting all fired up, that experience is indeed not very elegant. ❤ If even AI voices can't satisfy you, perhaps flipping through a physical book yourself is the most sophisticated option? ♡

I've only heard that meme used in mainland China.
