Whether it's too many characters, too few, or using an emoji as the first character, it all gets hidden. I've said this so many times, it feels like the devs never intended to seriously address this. Plus, the criteria are so inconsistent; sometimes it's hidden, sometimes it's not, even when the message is the same.
