Info Share | 'Red River Echo' Announces Taiwan Distribution Rights Acquisition

The anime 'Red River Echo', scheduled to premiere in July 2026 with a total of 24 episodes, has currently aired up to episode 14. Recently, it was announced that Return Line Entertainment has acquired the distribution rights for Taiwan! While the official streaming platform has not yet been announced, Return Line has previously distributed works that were also broadcast on Bahamut Animation Channel, so there might be a chance to watch it there in the future! Yuri, an ordinary Japanese high school girl who had just started dating her crush, is suddenly pulled into the water by a mysterious force and travels back in time over 3,000 years to the ancient Hittite Empire. It turns out that this was all a conspiracy orchestrated by the Queen, who intended to use a foreign girl for a curse ritual to place her son on the throne. Just as Yuri's life is in danger, Prince Kail of the Hittite Empire rescues her. To survive in this unfamiliar era and find a way back to the modern world, Yuri begins to act alongside Kail, gradually getting caught up in the royal power struggles and wars. As the two face numerous crises together, their feelings for each other also begin to change subtly... Before, I had this series on my watchlist without thoroughly checking the plot, but I put it aside because there wasn't a convenient platform to watch it on. Upon hearing the news about the distribution rights, I took another look at the setting. Ancient civilizations, court intrigue, and time travel themes are quite appealing to me, but I didn't realize the female lead already had a boyfriend before time-traveling😲 Even though it was an unavoidable separation, I can't help but feel a bit sorry for her original boyfriend. Anyway, I'm sharing this good news about the distribution rights, although I probably won't watch it myself😆
