They should be disposed of as general trash. Regular paper receipts should be sorted according to local regulations. 🟡 Pizza Boxes｜Not entirely recyclable Recyclability depends on the material and contamination. First, remove any residue, then sort according to the box material and local regulations. Uncleanable parts should be handled according to local rules. Special coatings also affect sorting. 🟢 Paper Food Containers & Cups｜Separate from other paper waste Lunch boxes and takeout cups often have a plastic lining but are still recyclable. Remember to 'Clean, Separate, Stack': remove residue, clean and dry, separate from other paper, and place in the paper container recycling. 🟡 Broken Umbrellas｜Don't just toss them in recycling Umbrellas are made of composite materials like metal, plastic, and fabric. Methods vary by city; some require disassembly. Check your local sanitation department's rules before discarding. 🔴 Mirrors & Ceramic Mugs｜Do not mix with glass bottles/jars Their materials and processing methods differ, so they cannot be mixed with glass container recycling. If broken, package them carefully to avoid cuts and dispose of them according to local regulations. 🔴 Power Banks｜Don't throw them in general trash They contain lithium batteries, which can catch fire if crushed, impacted, or short-circuited. Take them to designated collection points or dispose of them as instructed by the sanitation department.
