Celebrating the Republic of China's National Day on 10/10 Isn't Too Late! / Part 2

Celebrating the Republic of China's National Day on 10/10 Isn't Too Late! The glory of the Double Tenth doesn't fade just because a page on the calendar has turned. October 10th marks the birth of the Republic of China, the starting point of freedom and democracy. Perhaps the celebratory fireworks have dispersed, and the sea of flags has been put away, but the emotion and pride still burn in our hearts—because celebration is never just a formality, but a recognition and cherishing from the bottom of our hearts. Looking back over a century ago, the gunshot of the Wuchang Uprising pierced the long night of autocracy. Our predecessors and martyrs, with their flesh and blood, fought for the dawn of democracy and republic on this land. Since then, the flag of the blue sky with a white sun on a red field has stood tall through storms and hardships, accompanying this land through wars and difficulties, step by step towards today's prosperity and freedom. Every National Day is a remembrance of history and a tribute to our ancestors. Today, we live on this free land, enjoying freedom of speech, the right to choose, and the opportunity to pursue our dreams. None of this came easily; it is the fruit of the lives and sweat of countless predecessors. When the national flag rises, and the national anthem plays, what fills our hearts is gratitude, responsibility, and an infinite hope for the future. Perhaps we couldn't gather to celebrate on October 10th itself, but as long as the nation is in our hearts, every day is National Day. Let us protect this hard-won democracy with our actions: care about society, respect each other, and cherish freedom. These seemingly ordinary acts are precisely the strength that allows the Republic of China to continue to thrive. Celebrating the Republic of China's National Day on October 10th today is not too late! Because for those who love this land
