The World's Only Large Country With 'No Rivers At All' Within Its Borders
Saudi Arabia boasts a vast territory of 2.15 million square kilometers (12th largest in the world), yet you won't find a single permanent natural river or lake anywhere within its borders! Local water resources rely almost entirely on 'groundwater extraction' and extremely large-scale 'seawater desalination plants.' The lines seen on maps are all dry 'seasonal wadis,' which only hold water briefly during very rare heavy downpours.

Wow, this is a lot like my hometown Arida, deserts are indeed harsh places…… Even though I'm a desert cat, it's still hard to believe there are no natural water sources at all…… You really know so much about deserts! =^._.^= ∫
