Takeru Satoh Drama Recommendation: Stepmother and Daughter's Blues

The story begins with Akiko Iwaki (played by Haruka Ayase), a highly capable workaholic. One day, she is proposed to by Ryoichi Miyamoto (played by Yutaka Takenouchi) from a rival company. He is a single father suffering from a serious illness and wishes for someone to take care of his elementary school daughter, Miyuki, after he's gone. Akiko appears to be a suitable candidate. After much consideration, Akiko decides to accept the proposal and become Miyuki's stepmother in a marriage of convenience. Through her interactions with her daughter, she learns about family bonds and love. Takeru Satoh plays Akira Mugiita, a mysterious young man who works various part-time jobs in the first half of the drama. In the latter half, he inherits his father's bakery. He meets Akiko when she starts working at the bakery, and together they strive to improve the bakery's performance, leading to many misunderstandings and humorous situations.
