At 65, should I join National Pension or Farmers' Pension? -4
After approval, the lump sum payment will be transferred to the applicant's designated account; the old farmer's allowance will be transferred to the designated agricultural cooperative or financial institution account on a fixed date each month. National Pension Insurance Anyone who has participated in the National Pension Insurance and reaches the age of 65 is eligible to receive the National Pension old-age pension, regardless of the length of their contribution period. When calculating, if there are no restrictions preventing the selection of Method A (e.g., already receiving other social insurance annuities), the system will automatically compare the two calculation formulas, Method A and Method B, and issue the higher amount: Method A = (Monthly Insured Amount × Insurance Years × 0.65%) + Additional Amount (Additional Amount adjusted to 4,049 NTD from January 113) Method B = Monthly Insured Amount × Insurance Years × 1.3% Regular Payments: Payments start from the month the conditions are met (age 65) and are deposited into the designated financial institution or post office account by the end of the following month (the last business day), paid monthly until the month of the recipient's death. Delayed Application and 5-Year Retroactive Limit Application within 5 years: If you apply several months late, the Bureau of Labor Insurance will pay the accumulated unpaid pension in a lump sum by the end of the month following approval, covering the period from when you turned 65. Application exceeding 5 years: The statute of limitations for claims is 5 years. If you postpone your application until age 71, the Bureau of Labor Insurance can only retroactively pay the pension for the last 5 years (i.e., from age 67 to 71). The portion not applied for between ages 65 and 67 will be considered waived.

The national pension system has flaws, and I'm worried I won't be able to receive benefits later.
