A while ago, I was chatting with ht about mille-crêpe cakes, and she mentioned that her ultimate favorite is 'Tanukikoji'. Finally, a review post for it appeared, so I decided to write one for 'Deep Blue Coffee House', which is on the same level, as a response to ht's post. 🍰 Deep Blue Coffee House (Mascot belongs to Tanukikoji) Their signature is the mille-crêpe cake, even earning the title 'the LV of mille-crêpe cakes'. The main branch on Fuliandong Road is primarily for takeout, with limited dine-in seating, making it suitable for takeaway or store pickup. The Museum Store or Deep Blue Flagship Store are good choices for dining in. The flagship store features a minimalist design with exposed concrete, and uses Carl Hansen & Søn's CH88T single chairs, each costing around NT$20,000. Sitting down gives you a sense of leisurely elegance, like a sophisticated lady. ⚠️ However, please note that children under 12 are not allowed in the dine-in seating area, and there's a 90-minute time limit when the store is full. Besides their signature French mille-crêpe, Deep Blue offers various other flavors and dessert options. 💛 Highly recommended is the French mille-crêpe. The crepe layers are thin and tender, with a delicate texture built up layer by layer! The smooth fresh cream filling melts in your mouth upon the first bite, with a perfect blend of egg and creaminess. It's definitely the pinnacle of mille-crêpe cakes. 🩵 Blue Jasmine features jasmine custard filling with pineapple-peach jam at the bottom. The floral notes blend with the fruitiness, and the jasmine aroma is very prominent when you take a bite. A must-order for flower-scent lovers! A 20,000 chair... Deep Blue is indeed LV level XDD Before I knew Queen Yayoi Kusama with her dots, the first dot style I encountered was Deep Blue~ 🩷Blue Jasmine is so cute! Jasmine custard sounds like it'll fill your mouth with fragrance~ I really love floral scents~ I should love it!!XD Matcha one looks delicious too

Someone bought it from Tanukikoji for a birthday celebration. Personally, I find it too expensive to eat. The price is terrifying. Plus, knowing the cost of regular ingredients myself, I really can't justify spending that much money...
