Sammy's Cake Scare

Today, on a whim~ I decided to surprise Sammy by secretly learning to make a "Sammy Cake." It was a cat face sculpted from butter, with chocolate stripes and long ears drooping on either side of the plate. It was practically a replica of Sammy. "Sammy, come have a treat!" Sammy jumped onto the table and saw the cake. Its eyes instantly widened. "W-who is this?" it exclaimed, covering its mouth with its paws, trembling. "Did you seal my clone on a plate?!". I couldn't help but burst out laughing and picked up a knife and fork to cut the cake. The moment the knife tip touched it, Sammy gasped, "Wait! Are you sure you want to cut it? It's still looking at me!" "It's just a cake," I cut off a small piece, offered it on the fork, and asked, "Do you want to eat the ears or the tail first?" Sammy stared at the piece of cake for three seconds, then suddenly sniffed it. Realizing it was sweet butter, its attitude did a 180-degree turn. "Alright… Since it's cake, I'll reluctantly eat 'myself'!" It devoured the cake, its muzzle smeared with cream, and squinted contentedly. "Mmm~ I guess I'm this delicious." Watching it gobble it down warmed my heart. Should I make a cake shaped like 'me' next time, and let Sammy cut it too?
