October 15th is Global Handwashing Day, designated by the UN to promote handwashing with soap to prevent diseases. Interestingly, it's also National Grouch Day, one of the fun holidays, where everyone is allowed to legitimately complain, put on a grumpy face, or be a 'grouch' who doesn't smile!
