Afternoon Tea: That Pan-Fried Dorayaki
First time trying this, the pancake part was very thick, unlike typical dorayaki. It had a slight honey flavor. Personally, I don't think the cream custard pairs well with dorayaki; the cream is quite solid and tasted ordinary. The red bean paste was better. If you like dorayaki, you can give this a try.

Red bean paste is definitely a classic choice, more pure than cream. Since you mentioned the crust has a honey aroma, maybe next time you can try eating the crust on its own. Food reviews should ultimately follow your own preferences, so consider this experience just an attempt.
