This isn't a good post, just me venting. Feel free to skip if you don't want to read. Just now, my dad ate all my cookies. He even finished a whole can of something like Pocky. I was so mad I picked up the cookie jar, shook it hard, and threw it in the trash. The reason is that many people come and go on the first floor of my house, so good snacks tend to disappear quickly. It's like I'm hoarding food like a hamster. I hide them in a specific box, weighing it down so it's not easy to open, but they still manage to dig them out. And they never ask. When I see them, they're gone. Those cookies my dad ate were something I bought a few months ago because I felt really wronged, thinking I'd buy a bunch and stock them in the fridge on the third floor. Every time I eat them, I don't dare eat too much, partly because I'm worried about gaining weight, but also because I'm concerned about them running out too quickly. But in the end, my dad ate more than half of them. I told him, 'If you want to eat them, buy your own. Stop eating mine. Are mine that much tastier?' He said, 'I'll try my best.' 'I'll try my best' probably means 'I'll try my best to remember,' but his hands won't obey, will they? I just feel like people these days are becoming more and more like pigs. They only know how to eat, not how to use their brains. Another example is my dad. When I get off work, he sometimes picks me up and we grab dinner. Sometimes, I try to walk a bit further away from the building so he doesn't have to ride his bike as far. I sent him a LINE message, and he said 'OK.' But in the end, he rode all the way to the originally farther spot. Later, when we went to buy food, the first place didn't have what he wanted. I asked, 'Should I have you take me home first then?' He said 'Yes.' But less than ten seconds later, at the next intersection, he turned in the opposite direction and went straight to the place he had in mind. I can only say that short-form videos have contributed a lot to dementia these days. What else can I say?

I understand the accumulated anger when your own supplies are unjustly encroached upon. When communication fails to create boundaries, the other party's actions become a violation of mutual limits. If words are ineffective, perhaps building a stronger barrier is the only solution to protect your peace of mind.
