Why do some people say that if smoke only comes out of one nostril when smoking, it might be a cold?

Well, it's usually not directly related to a cold. It's simply because a deviated septum or swollen nasal lining causes asymmetrical airflow on both sides. If you don't have difficulty breathing normally, you don't need to worry too much. Why don't you observe if your usual nasal congestion is also like this?
