Under the Bed

Ever since he was little, Xiao Yu has been afraid of something under his bed. Every night before he sleeps, his mother would check under the bed to make sure no one was there before turning off the lights. One night, his mother crouched down to check as usual. She glanced under the bed, her face suddenly changed color, but she quickly put on a smile and tucked Xiao Yu in. "Honey, no matter what you hear tonight, don't look under the bed." With that, his mother left the room. In the middle of the night, Xiao Yu suddenly heard a faint sound from under the bed. "Xiao Yu…" He shivered and hid under the covers. The voice spoke again, "Xiao Yu, don't be scared, it's Mom." Xiao Yu trembled and asked, "Mom, aren't you outside?" The voice from under the bed suddenly became urgent. "Shh! Don't answer!" "The woman next to your bed isn't Mom!" The next second, Xiao Yu felt an icy hand slowly touch his face.
