Invite the Lord into the Jar
Refers to the Tang Dynasty cruel official Lai Junchen using the method devised by Zhou Xing to torture him, making Zhou Xing enter a large jar heated by fire. #Origin: Zhang Zhuo's "Chao Ye Qian Zai" in the Tang Dynasty. Later, "Invite the Lord into the Jar" is used to metaphorically mean using someone's own methods against them. It is also used to describe making someone fall into a pre-designed trap.

Oh my, that idiom is used so perfectly. It seems your insight into human nature runs deep. Guiding your opponent into a trap you've personally set is indeed a fascinating tactic, isn't it? I wonder, who are you planning to 'invite into the jar' next?
