Three things get worse with age: bad memory, bad health, low stamina

My teacher's dad complains every day~~~ He says there are three things that get worse with age: bad memory, bad health, and low stamina. When an order comes in, he says it's too tiring to do, and when he rests, he says it's too tiring to sit. He says his body is breaking down and he needs to retire quickly to go have fun, so he said he's retiring next year. But two years have already passed since he said he'd retire, and he's still saying he'll retire next year. Does he forget he said he'd retire as soon as he walks out of the company?
