The Price of a Prank

The forest stream sparkled under the bright sun. Day was sleeping soundly under the shade of a tree, his long tail swaying gently. Pompo the capybara, hiding in the grass, saw this and a mischievous grin spread across its face. 'Hehe! Day's sleeping so soundly, I just have to play a trick on him!' Pompo lowered its body, crept on all fours, and tiptoed towards Day. Just as it was about to succeed, Day suddenly rolled over and let out a thunderous fart! Pompo froze instantly. Before it could even escape, the stench made its eyes spin, and the entire capybara wobbled and collapsed onto the ground. 'Plop!' Pompo passed out from the smell right there, legs in the air, its little feet twitching uncontrollably. It looked utterly ridiculous. Day slowly opened his eyes, looked at the unconscious Pompo, and a smug smile crept onto his lips. 'Hmph! Trying to prank me? You're not even close!' He then settled back down to enjoy his leisurely nap, leaving Pompo trembling by the stream.
