My former colleague who kept getting heatstroke

There was this really peculiar former colleague of mine, and he did this for a whole month. I wasn't idle enough to observe him that closely, it just so happened that his post-production work was my job. Thanks to him, I had the most relaxed time at work, almost just sitting around and waiting. Every day, I'd watch him drink a beverage, smoke a cigarette, work for about 10 minutes, then take a break to smoke and check his phone for another 10 minutes, then drink some water, smoke, and work for another 10 minutes. Then he'd go get more water, smoke, and work for another 10 minutes, then grab another drink and work for another 10 minutes. It was an endless cycle, producing almost nothing all day. I spent my days just watching him. Sometimes he'd get heatstroke and go home after just half a day or a few hours. One day, he told the boss he wasn't feeling well and resigned.
