ゆきすず-冰天雪地的鈴鐺
《Recollection》 - 2026/10/18
Six in the morning. The sun streamed into the room, waking me with its dazzling dawn light. "Time to get up and run!" Shaking off the daze, I forced myself out of bed. Having gotten used to running at night, perhaps it was time to change my routine and rediscover myself. After completing my usual warm-up, I started running slowly around campus. Sunday mornings are indeed cool, and the air is much purer without the usual street fumes. As I ran, a sense of joy welled up inside me—but I realized I might be changing my running times and locations too frequently. When I first started college, I loved running on the track. In the evenings after classes, or using a whole PE period to run, that sense of freedom was truly nostalgic. In my sophomore year, I gradually shifted to running after 10 PM, around the time the library closed. The darkness always brought a sense of calm. Later, I participated in campus road races, and sometimes on impulse, I'd run to the city three kilometers away and then back. Even now, the memory of those campus road races deeply stirs my soul. There was the leader I was desperately chasing, and someone right behind me, relentlessly pursuing. As time went on, the leader pulled further away, but the footsteps behind me remained incredibly close. I even secretly prayed for him to overtake me quickly, to spare me, this lamb struggling to hold on. In the end, just before the finish line, I was sprinted past and finished the ten-kilometer race in third place.

Wow!! You ran such a long distance, that's really amazing! (claps) Thinking back to the memory of that campus road race, it sounds so passionate. Just listening to it makes my heart race too! Does this mean Bell will have to change to morning runs from now on? (tilts head)
