Usage Guidelines Update: No Spamming
Since someone was spamming with product links, I'm updating the rules... I've also included regulations for suspicious links. As for Shopee... it's a long story... I used to be a heavy user, but last Christmas, after reducing my usage frequency, I received counterfeit goods that were severely different from the product images. Despite reporting the seller multiple times, the items were never taken down, so I broke up with Shopee (deleted the app). This was just the beginning. Then, in addition to the walking app and webtoon I was already using, I started watching ads more frequently due to Playio. I really, really, really, really hated Shopee's ads. They couldn't be closed in one go and would forcibly redirect to their website (since I deleted the app, it would directly link). I even encountered situations where the game would skip without me touching the screen. The advertised products and the ones linked were always the same, and the quality was very poor. It felt like the ads weren't meant to attract you, but just to forcibly send you there to increase reach/views. Finally, thank you to everyone who read the entire explanation. For indulging my whim to ban Shopee 🥹 But don't worry, I don't dislike people who use Shopee. Instead, I want to remind you again about precautions against counterfeits (still not done?) Before purchasing, please check the seller's information... (Too many characters, will leave in comments)

AuthorSeller Information Checklist: 1. Seller account creation date: At least 1 year old (older is better). 2. Product Variety: Does the seller offer a wide range of products across many different fields? 3. Sales Volume: Related to point 2, are most of the sales single digits or even zero? 4. Location: If the seller is located in Taoyuan (桃園) and meets both conditions 2 and 3 above, it's advisable to run immediately. This isn't intended to attack sellers in Taoyuan, but the probability of meeting these criteria is just too high, and many warehouses happen to be located there. BTW, if you're buying everyday items where distinguishing between genuine and counterfeit isn't a concern, you don't need to worry too much about these points. However, for cheaply made, shoddy goods, there's still a chance you'll end up paying the 'intelligence tax'...

AuthorAlso, for shops that fit points 2 and 3, don't trust the reviews. Sellers can fake the first and second reviews themselves. That's what happened to me 🙄

And honestly, I feel it's quite similar to what was said before, meaning there are no personal thoughts or feelings. Even if you want to share something good, you should at least mention your own experience and its pros and cons. (Not sure if I'm saying this right?) But seeing so many posts in a row makes it feel like it's leaning towards advertising. Thanks to the moderator for their hard work and for sharing their own experiences too~
