SCP-178 3D Glasses

Item #: SCP-178 Object Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: When not undergoing testing, SCP-178 is to be kept in a Level 3 Hazardous Material containment locker, guarded by no fewer than two (2) armed Level 3 personnel. The item may not be removed from its container without written permission from personnel of Level 4 or higher. Following Incident 178-14-Alpha, all testing is to be conducted under remote surveillance, with personnel other than the test subject explicitly forbidden from approaching the testing area during trials. Description: SCP-178 is a pair of white stereoscopic (3-D) glasses, consisting of a white rectangular cardboard frame and plastic lenses, colored transparent blue and red respectively for the left and right eyes. Aside from minor fading on the cardboard consistent with its age, the object exhibits no anomalous physical properties. When worn, the wearer perceives large, bipedal entities in addition to the normal environment. These entities are reportedly docile and occasionally exhibit curious behavior (including leaning on the shoulders of working personnel and observing them with curiosity), with one exception. Test subjects have not reported hearing any sounds originating from the entities. Prolonged exposure to the item has no lasting effects. Images viewed through the item exhibit a three-dimensional effect. Source: http://scpwiki.com/scp-178 Licensed under CC-BY-SA.
