A bit tough
Today's breakfast: Steamed dumplings and steamed egg. They were cooked through, but the folded edges of the dumplings were too hard. I wonder if there wasn't enough water? Because the water in the outer pot completely dried up after steaming!

I tried it too And the wrapper for the boiled dumplings was too hard. I heard you're supposed to rinse them with water first before steaming them. But I still found them to be hard. So from now on, when I eat boiled dumplings, I'll just boil them. After boiling and if I can't finish them, I'll put them in the fridge and then steam or pan-fry them later. Alternatively, you can put water or broth in a bowl, dip the raw dumplings in it, and then steam them. But dumplings dipped in water like this end up with a mushy wrapper.
