Good morning, everyone. Great job with the Meguroco event yesterday. Did you all manage to catch any high IVs or shinies? I had a lot of things come up yesterday and couldn't really enjoy the 'Pokémon Day' event. I played for about 2 hours in total. As a result, I only caught a few shinies and no high IV Pokémon. However, it was worth the effort of moving around, and I've managed to reach 35km for Pikachu. Just a little more to go. The event runs until Monday, so I'll be pushing hard today. Only 7km left, I can see the finish line.

The free task was successfully cleared thanks to the egg that hatched from my walk last night! Since I live in the middle of nowhere, I don't really walk much during the day. Plus, the sunlight is still painfully strong, different from summer, so I don't feel like walking... Nighttime is definitely the best time to walk...

Today from 11 AM to 5 PM is Meguroko Hatching Day event! There's a bonus where hatching distance is halved, so if you have a lot of long-distance eggs saved up from events like the Team Rocket event, it'll be easier to hatch them during this event. Also, as a free Timed Challenge, hatching 1 egg grants you an Incubator and a bit of XP. So, if you haven't been able to walk much during the event and might hatch an egg upon logging in, it might be best to log in after 11 AM.

I walked hard again last night. I managed to hit 25km. Finally passed the halfway turnaround point. I have 'Fuka Day' today, so I'll walk again when I have time. I'll aim for 42km and keep going today.
