Mapo Tofu Dan Dan Noodles

I went to a Chinese restaurant near an interchange in Sendai (next to Ramen, Soba, Ramen, Eel...). From the choice of daily specials, this time I had the Mapo Tofu Dan Dan Noodles 🙂 It had a spicy flavor from spices, but not too much from chili peppers, making it easy to eat and delicious😋😋 The dan dan sesame sauce also nicely mellowed out the spiciness, so it got high marks from me, who likes it but isn't great with spicy food!👍👍👍 The only downside was... the dan dan sauce + mapo sauce had a thick, gravy-like consistency, so it didn't cool down easily and stayed piping hot🥵 I almost burned my tongue😂 (It's fine if you eat slowly 😎) By the way... it's a popular place and was almost full, so we ordered from separate counter seats. But afterwards, they noticed a table had opened up and kindly moved us, which was a really nice touch!👍
