Psycho Field Yessan is really strong! It's super strong when paired with Mega Gardevoir. It's tough but fun with the added competition for field control on top of weather.

Primarina is still subtly too strong. Even though new strong Pokémon have been added, its usage rate hasn't dropped at all. Seriously, I'm always so grateful for it.

Just recently, since the release of PokeChannel, I managed to scout a shiny Pokémon for the first time! So, the name of that Pokémon is…? Infernape Hmm…🤔 I only had BDSP for past Pokémon games and played it quite a bit, but my favorite starter from that generation is Empoleon. Plus, for the Sinnoh starters, there are pretty much superior Pokémon in the current meta… It's the first shiny I got from scouting, so I want to use it, but I don't really feel like using a Pokémon that's practically a downgrade… …is what I'm thinking, but whether Infernape can hold its own in the current meta doesn't really matter. Are there any unique ways to use Infernape that only it can do? Single or Double battles are both fine. I'd love to hear your suggestions! 🙏

Current meta Pokemon that aren't newly released this season are actually performing better 😄 Since the currently used Pokemon are heavily concentrated on the newly added strong Pokemon, it's easier to counter them, and those counters are quite effective. That's why I'm not really using the newly added Pokemon. What I feel is working well right now are setup teams using Mega Pidgeot, like: Blaziken Baton Pass → Mega Pidgeot Araquanid → Mega Pidgeot I feel the difficulty of sweeping with Mega Pidgeot has significantly decreased compared to last season.
