A Story About a Paid Parking Lot

This morning's story. There's a paid parking lot (flat, no barrier) next to the station rotary. Because it was raining and the rotary was crowded, I stopped there to drop off my child whom I was giving a ride to. As I was about to leave, an old man knocked on my window. He came over to complain, saying, "I rented this spot, so don't park here! I barely fit my car in!" 😖 So I rolled down my window and said, "Oh, sorry," and immediately drove off. It's true it's a paid space, and I was in the wrong, but "I only stopped briefly to drop someone off, I wasn't actually parking..." I felt a bit annoyed, so I decided to write about it.

Topic: Regarding "Diversity"

We hear the word "diversity" quite often these days. What comes to mind when you think of "diversity"? There are many things, such as gender, race, values, etc. What are your thoughts on the word "diversity" and how it's used?

Topic: "Positive Thinking vs. Negative Thinking"

My company has Saturday workdays, and I had a bit of a disagreement with my colleagues when we were talking about how much we dislike working Saturdays. While both my colleague and I agree that working Saturdays is undesirable, my perspective is that even with Saturday work, instead of thinking 'I hate this,' I try to think 'It's tough, but let's do our best' to manage my mood and get through it. However, when I shared this with my colleague, they didn't seem to understand my way of thinking at all. I believe everyone has their own way of thinking, but I felt it would be more miserable to spend the day feeling 'I hate this.' What are your thoughts on this? Whether you agree, disagree, or have a different opinion, all are welcome. I'd like to hear various perspectives.

Topic: "When does someone become your 'Oshi'?"

I think many people have someone they 'oshi' (stan/root for), like an actor or artist. However, isn't there a difference between liking an actor or artist and considering them your 'oshi'? While some actors or artists you like are also your 'oshi', there are likely others you like but don't consider your 'oshi'. So, what defines an 'oshi'? When does the feeling of 'liking' transition into 'oshi'?
