I tried Mountain House, an American emergency food I saw on the YouTube channel 'Tokkagun'. Tonight, I'm having the Veggie Chorizo & Scrambled Eggs. All you need to do is add hot water, so it seems useful for disaster situations. The contents are mysterious meat chunks, eggs, and various vegetables. When I tasted it, it was delicious with a Chinese flavor! It tasted like Qing Jiao Rou Si but with the bell peppers and soy sauce removed and made spicier. It also had a good meaty texture. Just as I was impressed that this could last for 30 years, a strong strange sensation hit my mouth. Did I bite into styrofoam? No, it was the egg. A chunk of styrofoam that oozed flavor the more I chewed. I take back what I said earlier, it's di~sgu-sting!!! I learned that texture is as important as taste in cooking. Intersections without traffic lights are scary, aren't they? This morning, I wanted to turn right at an intersection with no lights. I checked the curved mirror, thought no cars were coming, and entered the intersection. Then, either I missed it or they were speeding regardless of the limit, but a car was coming. It was super scary 😭 Fortunately, they noticed me and swerved, so I avoided an accident... I really hate intersections that rely solely on curved mirrors. I wish public transportation was better so I wouldn't have to drive. (I know it's impossible since I live in the countryside)
