I'm feeling kinda hungry so I'm just munching on some plain toast ( 'ч' ) I used to like the 8-slice thickness, but lately the 5-slice one feels just right. I like Oasis brand toast because it's moist and slightly sweet. Bread tastes totally different depending on the brand, so I've been trying and comparing them lately.

I periodically search for Taro Aso's handwriting and look at it, and I never get tired of it, it's incredibly fun. He writes well. Considering his family background and the era, I feel like he was taught as part of his education, but it feels less like calligraphy and more like someone who enjoys writing, so I think he's probably naturally good at writing. Looking at the overall balance of his cursive script, it feels like a pot, but I wonder if this balance is what gives it its unique charm. He also seems to write with a lot of pressure, twisting the brush, but his penmanship is surprisingly rounded and very soft. Personally, I generally prefer block script (kaisho), but there's an indescribable flavor to the way he breaks up the characters in cursive script (gyosho) that makes me keep looking. Though, his block script looks more skillful. I think he might be the type who excels at free-form writing, like pieces exhibited at a calligrapher's exhibition, rather than textbook-perfect characters. Of course, that's all based on having a solid foundation. When I was taking calligraphy classes, my brush pressure was often pointed out. Now, I've reached a level of understanding where I realize that writing should be done with a relaxed hand, flowing naturally. However, I still have the feeling that 'power is power'. Also, writing characters is always fun, and I feel like that time was necessary even now, so I like it. I hope those who are learning calligraphy continue with it.

Tokyo Station is in chaos. I understand the impact of the morning suspension is significant. The transfer gates from conventional lines to the Shinkansen are overflowing with people, and if you start moving based on the electronic display, you'll definitely miss your train. Even if you start a bit earlier, a slight delay in judgment or a mistake and the train will depart. That must be tough for the station staff and guides. It's even more so with international travelers.

Also, I want to see Ogiko doing his best with the bow and arrows at Hangu Pass. I want to see a pretty messed-up Ogiko. And Lady Karyo is super cute, what's up with that?

I really remember feeling so out of place when Setanta first appeared in FGO. "He's not a bob cut..." That was it. More than noticing Draco's crazy outfit or how Rockstar didn't fit him (a mushroom-loving short-stack), it was "He's not a bob cut..." That's all I could think about during the event. Well, the reason is pretty obvious. Shin Megami Tensei's image was just too strong. Another character I have a strong SMT image for is Scathach. Fans of her might prefer the Fate version though (bunny suit is the best). Speaking of connections, Cú Chulainn is more strongly associated with Fate for me.

Lately, there have been many days where I neglected my meals, but thanks to eating out with someone last night, I really stuffed myself & drank quite a bit, for the first time in a while. Seriously, it's been a long time since I had a proper meal. My stomach hurts now. lol I'll just pretend it's all in my head and go to sleep. I really should learn to rest properly, I'm not young anymore. I've been feeling this more and more strongly lately🤣

When you say 'long rain,' it feels like ordinary rain, but compared to spring rain, the rainy season, or winter rain, autumn rain is still the best. When it rains in autumn, the air becomes very quiet, and it's nice to be a little chilly, which is why I like autumn rain the most. Then you might ask about winter, but winter rain is too cold, piercing and beyond quiet, it hurts, so autumn rain is the best. If you're just looking for quietness, winter is the only choice. The silent world of a winter early morning is quite good. And Fusai Fujiwara's haiku about autumn rain is brilliant: 'The coolness of the autumn rain is so pleasant.' 'A mountain's purity is beauty, autumn rain.' Getting chilly from the autumn rain feels good too. After the autumn rain, the entire mountain becomes pure, the air clears, and it's quiet and beautiful. That's the meaning, but these two poems perfectly match my feelings, so I deeply understand. And thank you for expressing autumn rain positively in a way that even a haiku novice like me can understand. When the mountain, red with autumn leaves, is slightly misty after the autumn rain, it's truly beautiful. Even without autumn leaves, just looking at the mountain after the rain evokes a sense of emotion, so rain, mountains, and the unique autumn atmosphere are mysterious existences. Summer rain is noisy. Even when it's drizzling, it's somehow noisy, and the air is noisy too. It's like a party person among humans, that rain.

After a long time, I started playing SMT 4 again and unintentionally went for the Law route from the fiery Tokyo. That's when I suddenly thought: Loki is just too convenient. He has all sorts of attack magic, En-dren for sustained combat, and most surprisingly, Tetra Break was fully equipped. Good job, past me. Thinking back, I remember Loki being incredibly useful until the final dungeon in SMT 5 as well. Especially handy against regular mobs.

I still have a lot of work piled up, but I finally reached a good stopping point and have some downtime, so I'm taking a proper break for the first time in a while~! I wanted to buy my Shinkansen ticket for my next day off, so I rushed out and grabbed some snacks from the convenience store on my way back~! Let's keep pushing forward after this~!
