Theory: The 'Foreign' Series is Weaker Than the 'Local' Series ~Demon Chapter~
【Local Demon】 LS: 3.2x ATK, 3.2x HP, deals 2x ATK to all enemies at end of turn. SK: Generates 5 Chance Puyo, Wilds at 1x. The leader skill is useful, but the skill itself is unusable. It's helpful for farming (guild events or collection events), but since they don't have their own special training skills, Suzuran + α (special training SK) is used for regular farming. While it's not impossible for them to be buffed, considering Suzuran + α are popular characters from the original game, I don't think they'll be buffed. Honestly, I hope they aren't. 【Foreign Demon】 LS: 4.8x ATK, 3.5x HP, 2x REC, converts next puyo to your attribute for 1 turn. If 2+ combos, reduces the ATK of the opponent you attacked by 25% for 1 turn. Strong. Since it's a next conversion, the skill activation count is reduced significantly from the start, and you can even cut the opponent's 100% ATK (with exceptions like Dragon People). However, it lacks skill acceleration. Ability: When you clear 4 Puyo, turn 2 next Puyo into Chance Puyo of your attribute. Simply put, this is great. A Chance state allows for at least 4 Puyo to accelerate skills. SK: Varies by character, will explain individually. More in the comments section.

But with a more suspicious Kuruk at the same cost, and the weakness of not being able to compete with adjacent enhances, its usability is questionable. AuthorNoor Adjacent Enhance 10x Some people will use it. The multiplier isn't low, but since it can only enhance, it's less versatile compared to other adjacent enhances. There's Witch of Spotlight at the same cost, who's a slightly better version. Sultana: 2 Chance Puyo, turns this character's attack into 7x3 consecutive hits. Strong, but weak due to competition. At cost 60, there's Genius Knight Klug, who has 3x5. Looking at it this way, Sultana seems stronger, but Klug can multiply his own attack by 2.4x with his special skill. By the way, their base attack power is about the same. In this situation, there's no reason to use Foreign Sultana. Conclusion: For usage, locals are definitely strong. Fairy tales have comparable performance for both. Foreign Sultana is a disappointing character.

AuthorPersonally, I think they should strengthen the Suzuran series more before releasing the special unlocks for the Demon series. Like, increase their attack power from 4.2x to 6.0x. It's only for one turn, and they're all popular characters (Ringo, Maguro, Risukuma, Feli, Lemres), so I think this much would be acceptable.
