The legendary liquor……

This time of year always reminds me of it. There was a liquor I absolutely adored back in the day. It was called 'Kurikishu' (pronounced 'Rigichu'), and it tasted like sweet chestnuts. I loved drinking it mixed with warm milk. Adding a little to hot cocoa was also delicious…. It's been discontinued now, so I can't get it anymore. I've tried everything I could to find a similar liquor, but I haven't found anything with that same chestnut flavor…. I try every new chestnut liqueur that comes out, but…. I really, really wish they would bring it back, Suntory-san!
