My Beloved Who Crossed the Rainbow Bridge
My beloved cat, who crossed the rainbow bridge 3 years ago. She loved her mom (me) so much that she'd always sleep with her arm as a pillow, regardless of the season. It's the monthly anniversary of her passing, so I suddenly remembered her and decided to write this. I don't feel ready to welcome a new pet yet. On this monthly anniversary, I offered her favorite Churu and lit some incense. I've found and purchased a grave plot where we can be together, and I believe I'll meet her again at the foot of the rainbow bridge. I love you, Mai. Please wait for me until I join you.

When my first cat passed away, I felt like they were still in the house all the time, and I thought I'd never be able to get another pet due to pet loss. I visit their grave occasionally since their ashes are at a pet cemetery. Decades later, my circumstances changed a lot, and now I live with a cat I adopted from a rescue cat cafe. But even after welcoming a new cat, I never forget my first one 😁
