Military Bearing
It seems that due to my father's influence, I unintentionally give off a scary impression to common folk. Points I've been told about ⇓ 'Please don't make eye contact, it's scary' (I was raised to make eye contact when speaking) 'Conversations don't flow' (I was raised to keep my responses short, just saying 'Yes,' and to speak only after the other person finishes) 'Why do you stand at attention while listening?' (I was raised to listen intently to the other person; if I fidgeted during a conversation, my shoulder would be grabbed) Given the circumstances of that era, I'd prefer you not make a fuss about it, but my father was quite quick to resort to a fist. So, when speaking with my father or mother, I'd straighten my back even during meals. As a child, when talking with classmates, I truly couldn't understand why they couldn't sit still and fidgeted so much, why they talked while reading books, and why they kept chattering away at each other. I understand that my behavior is out of sync with the times and I'm trying my best to change it, but it's been quite some time since my father passed, and it hasn't changed... I was afraid of his fist... If I dared to speak without looking at his face, I'd get a 'BANG!' I was told, 'Are you a soldier?' A soldier-like young lady... how troublesome...

The soldier-type lady is cool in this new genre! ✨ I feel like she won't be underestimated. 🙂↕ I'll try standing at attention, looking them in the eye, and saying "Yes" when I want to intimidate someone. 🌹💪 I hope there won't be any situations where I need to intimidate someone... 🥹

I saw it thinking, 'What a true lady!!' Your serious personality really comes through ✨ I'm the type who's casual and a bit loose, but I always thought looking someone in the eye when talking was a given, and yet I was always told I was scary. It's also troublesome if gentlemen think I'm targeting them (They reject me even when I'm not aiming, how unfair 😭) But I still believe that as you get older, looking someone in the eye when you speak is important. That's a wonderful trait you have ✨
