I know that. I know it's better to focus on about 5-7 main characters and invest the rest into equipment to get stronger. But I want to pull and max out various characters and play with them (because it's a character game). Equipment game? But the necessary parts keep increasing, and I don't think I can strengthen them that much due to the level cap... ⋯

It's good to proceed by strengthening your equipment and equipping one of each gem. Buying equipment available in the shop with coins or ores is also an option. Focus on characters like Cordy and Florence, and strengthen an SR character that can be exchanged for 120,000 in the Time-Space mission.

Nya? Strength? Don't know. The real winners are those who cherish their faves and enjoy the game. If you're gonna talk here, and your true desire is to collect various characters and have fun, why not just go all-in on enjoying it and forget about strength? I think it's more meaningful than trying to get seriously strong, getting stomped by whales, and then just giving up in tears.
