Melt (Cover) / Gazelle

In the world of Vocaloid, this is truly the origin and the pinnacle…🎖️ For me, no matter how many years pass, this cover of the masterpiece "Melt" remains my absolute favorite 🥰 Gazelle's (Yanagi Nagi) version of "Melt" is an audio recording where the legendary Hatsune Miku song, written and composed by Vocaloid producer ryo (supercell), was covered (sung) by the then overwhelmingly popular utaite (singer) Gazelle (now professional singer Yanagi Nagi) on Niconico Douga 🎶 With her exceptionally transparent and unique vocal abilities, this cover achieved a historic massive hit on Niconico Douga and the Vocaloid scene in its early days ✨️ This cover led to the connection between ryo and Gazelle, who was later scouted as a guest vocalist (under the name nagi) for "supercell," known for songs like the anime "Bakemonogatari" ending theme "Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari" 😱 "Melt," a quintessential love-at-first-sight song that makes your heart flutter, is covered here with Gazelle's overwhelming expressive power 😭 Unlike the original Hatsune Miku version, this cover captivates with the delicate breaths unique to humans, soaring high notes, and an emotional voice that seems to embody a young girl's unrequited love 😢
