I've got no motivation!

Good work, everyone! Why is it that on holidays, I think of all these things I want to do, but when the holiday actually arrives, I lose all motivation? I wanted to build a smoker that could do both hot and cold smoking, and I was researching it, but by the time I was supposed to get the materials, I'd lost the motivation! Then, when work starts again, I begin researching it once more. I want to make bacon and smoked salmon.
