Question

I'm thinking about installing and trying out Memento Mori, which I've been eyeing lately. Are there any things beginners should watch out for? I don't really know what kind of game it is, so I'd appreciate it if those who are playing could tell me more!

Welcome to the world of Memento Mori! For beginners, the most efficient strategy is to pick one main dealer and focus your resources on leveling them up. Please use your diamonds wisely, not just for gacha pulls, but also for purchasing items in the shop.

I've put together some stories about what I wish I had known when I first started playing Memento Mori! 😆 I hope you find them helpful. First, regarding the gacha, I recommend using your diamonds primarily for 'permanent characters' that can be obtained at any time. This is because the game has a system where you need to obtain multiple copies of the same character to increase their rarity. If you end up pulling for limited-time characters, you might run out of diamonds mid-way, halt their evolution, and then miss out on the pickup banner once it ends. Of course, if you're determined to get a specific limited character, going for it is totally fine, but generally, it's best to focus on the permanent gacha. Their abilities are also very strong, so you won't have any issues even without chasing limited characters.

It's a bit complicated with various factors, but here are a few things... If you're rerolling, you'll want Cordy, Merlin, Primavera, and Florence, aiming for two of them. Next best would be Mimi and Lunarlind. Those top 4 are the strongest permanent SRs, so ideally, you want two of them (if you have to settle for one, go for Florence or Primavera). In Memento Mori, you'll constantly be short on upgrade resources, so it's crucial to use them strategically. (Some resources can be reset). Especially red orbs (potential orbs) are scarce, so you'll struggle with a shortage of them (if you're not paying). Focus on leveling up only 5 characters. (You don't need to worry too much about who you pick since there are level links and resets). Aim to upgrade equipment to level 20 or 60. For your attackers (Cordy or Florence), max out the reinforcement for their weapon, arms, and legs. As for gacha, you don't need to spend diamonds on anything. I think it's fine to just pull for the characters you absolutely need to secure (depending on your spending). For attribute tickets, I recommend investing solely in the green attribute. Most of the shops and paid packs are traps, so avoid them. (Anything you can buy with gold is fine)

This is a story about my mistake. It might not make much sense if you haven't played yet, but "Don't leave empty slots in the Platinum Gacha select list!!!" (It lowers the drop rate) Please keep this in mind when you start 😭
