An ad that made me sad from the morning...
Good morning, everyone. It's your usual working noblewoman, diligently working alongside you all through the Silver Week. Let's break a good sweat today too! Now, about the matter at hand. As I was quietly enjoying my favorite LINE Block Jam, I saw this ad at the beginning... "I was embarrassed to walk next to my wife who gained weight after childbirth." Are you kidding me? Women who give birth inevitably gain weight. You didn't even know that when you got her pregnant? And you're ashamed of her body after she's grown? You say that to your wife who carried and birthed your child and is exhausted? And then you give such a weakened wife a suspicious drug? Should I petition our lord to dispatch the guards and knights against the company that approved this ad? What an outrageous advertisement...

Dear Miyabe Koushi 🌹 I think I might have seen similar ads too. If it were the 'lady version,' it would probably be something like, 'I was embarrassed to walk next to my husband after his hair started thinning from marriage.' I don't understand what's fun about putting each other down~ 😅 Our changing bodies and hairstyles are proof of the years we've spent together~!!

Stirring up greed and anxiety is fundamental to manipulation, so it won't disappear, will it? 😅 The concerning point is that the person isn't the one feeling embarrassed. I wonder if this is the 'blaming others' mentality I hear about so often lately. What a distasteful advertisement. 💦

I understand... I also feel embarrassed by my wife's blemishes and hate walking next to her! I saw the ads too. I always think it would be better if the same ads became like, 'Huh, have they become more attractive than before?' 'Is it because they're using this!' 😔
